We are building engaged, informed, and resilient communities.
Through a collaborative approach to stewarding the Eastern Sierra, we work closely with local organizations, regional partners, Tribal groups, and community members to promote forest health, wildfire preparedness, and sustainable land management practices.
Our educational programs, public events, and engagement initiatives are designed to foster meaningful connections across the region, empowering communities with the knowledge and tools needed to protect and sustain the landscapes they cherish. Together, we’re building a foundation for resilient ecosystems and more prepared communities throughout our shared region.
Our Work Includes
Educational Workshops and Events
We host workshops, seminars, and community events that bring together residents, experts, and community voices to discuss critical environmental issues and explore collaborative solutions. Check out our events here.
Engaging Community Members
We actively involve the community in project planning, wildfire preparedness efforts, and home hardening initiatives. By creating space for local voices and promoting shared responsibility, we are dedicated to reflecting the values and needs of the community. Look out for community meetings and projects here.
Building Partnerships
Collaborating with local organizations, Tribal groups, landowners, and residents, we foster a support network that strengthens our educational efforts and bolsters community involvement in environmental stewardship. One example is our role in the Eastern Sierra Wildfire Alliance, a regional collaboration for wildfire resilience.
