Whitebark Institute is seeking a Forest Health Program Manager who will oversee and manage all aspects of our Forest Health program, working closely with the Forest Health Program Director. A key responsibility will be overseeing fuel reductions work within the Eastern Sierra Climate & Communities Resilience Project and managing a dedicated team to ensure successful project execution.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelors degree and 10+ years of experience in natural resources and developing, coordinating, and implementing resource-related projects.
- Expertise in forestry operations and practices.
- Experience with data management and proficiency with Microsoft Office, ESRI ArcGIS products, and GPS software and hardware.
- Project management background and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
