Whitebark Institute will host three community meetings to discuss upcoming wildfire risk reduction and forest restoration projects planned in the Mammoth Lakes area.
These meetings will focus on work beginning in May 2025 near the Forest Trail and Red Fir/Bluff Street neighborhoods but are open to all community members interested in learning more about the project. More information regarding this project can be found here.
The goal is to provide insight into the purpose and need for these projects, discuss potential public impacts, and offer a space for questions.
The Forest Trail and Red Fir/ Bluff Street meetings will be held outside. Please be prepared to be outdoors and wear closed toed shoes. Parking will be limited. If possible, please plan to walk or carpool to the meeting location.
