Planning for the Future
The Resilient Mono Basin Project is an emerging effort to explore opportunities for landscape-scale resilience and wildfire restoration in the Mono Basin watershed.
Recognizing the importance of local voices, this initiative will be driven by partners and community members to ensure that future actions align with the region’s unique needs and values.
Partners
We are working to convene a diverse group of partners, including Tribes, community members, local organizations, and agencies, to shape the vision for this watershed-scale project. Your input is vital as we begin to identify priorities and strategies for resilience in the Mono Basin.

Project Status
This is not yet a formalized project but rather a critical planning phase. With funding from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, we aim to kick off active planning in 2025. This early stage is dedicated to fostering collaboration, hosting community discussions, and setting the foundation for future ecosystem resilience efforts.
